  1. Me likey the start to tonight's sweep!
  2. That was the 55 best seconds of silence I've heard in a long time!
  3. If he did, maybe he would realize that things have changed a bit at Wrigley since Lee Elia's comments. I'd venture to guess that the vast majority of Cubs fans are in fact making a respectable salary. Otherwise, how could we afford the $250 tickets, rooftops or $6.75 beers that Sox fans are so fond of saying we drink?
  4. You forgot Kenny "Hey, look at me" Williams wishing us a happy anniversary. Maybe if these morons would worry a bit more about their play on the field than all the other pettiness, they would fare better...Then again, we'd still kick their tails in! I love how all of these comments are rooted in their utter jealousy of the Cubs organization.
  5. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Danks I think it was more of a reference to the last time a white sox pitcher tried calling out the cubs (and greg maddux) and maddux replied with "Who's Mark Burhle?" I actually liked Burhle until he criticized one of this generation's best pitchers and an all around class act. Hey, maybe you should make it back to 500 before being critical of HOFs... In general, the Sox are a bunch of hot-headed mouths who are insecure with their standing in this town. They all deserve each other.
  6. Boy, I was hoping we could bring him up to fill in for a couple of starts with Z out.
  7. Anyone know how to save a copy of Pat and Ron's call in iTunes?
  8. Let's hope this year's A-Ram walk-off has the same effect as last year. Funny how similar those two game ended and how they were captured perfectly. This will surely be my favorite photo--that is until we reach October!
  9. I love it when the Cubs listen to me!!!!!!!!!!!! Time to put up the W flag! Let's add to the winning streak tomorrow!
  10. My love for Woody continues to grow... Time for an ARAMA-BOMB walk-off style!
  11. It's only a tie ballgame. Relax. What, we should only believe in our team when they're winning? That sounds like something Sox fans would do.
  12. Now it's GEO time and we can get a new sponsor for the Back2Back2Back triple-jacks promotion!
  13. Like I was saying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD-LLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! That's more like it! Now, let's go back2back!
  15. Let's shut the door and then pound out some runs!
  16. D-Lee and A-Ram are long overdue for a prolonged hot streak
  17. Nice to see that we're killing our own rallies.
  18. WTG Lilly....now let's wake up and get some stinkin' runs....I'm starting to get fired up!
  19. It's like waiting for a tree to talk. It's not going to happen. Yeah, I hate the fact the Cubs have the highest OBP and BA in the game and are leading the NL in runs scored....very unproductive indeed.
  20. Why? We're usually down, that's easy to deal with. Being up is unusual, and it makes us nervous. Valid...makes sense. But to me it's more like, "Wow, we're actually pretty good." I'm more relaxed this year and find myself looking at the big picture a lot more. Not me. I'm more fired up this year than ever. I am pissed even if we're only up by a run or two. I guess I just feel that this is the closest we're ever going to get to having a WS-caliber team, and this is our only chance for another 20 years or so. Why, we don't have any pending FA departures and we're still a young ballclub. If anything we'll be even better next season as our young talent develops and we add a pitcher or two.
  21. We're now walking guys with .230 BAs?
