    I don't want 2 of our lower half hitters hitting 1-2. I'm fine with how the lineup is now. It's hard to screw up a lineup as consistent as we have. What does 'lower half hitters' mean? As in not one of the best 4 hitters on our team. Riot should hit either 1 or 2. He is a single machine. Not to mention he's our primary SB option.

    I have no problem with an Edmonds/Johnson combo with Felix coming up when appropriate.

    I really thought we'd win three games in this series and surprise some people, but I didn't expect our pitching staff to dominate like this against a good hitting Brewers club.

    We just beat the Brewers best two starters (and two of the better pitchers in the game) and now have Demp and Harden going the next two games. Me likey... Great game by Big Z tonight and it was nice to see the bats come alive as well (13 runs in two games is more like it). Go Cubs! Let's make it 4 in a row tomorrow night...

    I had a feeling we were going to break through. We had 3 or 4 solid hits in the first two innings that the Brewers made good plays on.

    This might be off topic a bit, but anytime someone claims "Cubs fans only go to Wrigley to get drunk and don't care about the game" I point to scenes like tonight where there must be close to 20,000 Cubs fans in attendance. Of course, Cubs Nations shows up strong wherever we play. Guess we Cubs fans actually like to follow our team, huh?
