    We arent really tied though we have played 2 more games than the Brewers IF they split those they are ahead of us. Not true. If they split those, we're tied. If they win both, we would be behind by 1.

    The Cubs need Ward in case we get to Munroe's spot in the lineup. I don't know if that's sarcasm, but again you cross that bridge when you get to it. If the inning is alive for Monroe against a righty then you pinch hit Murton. You use your best pinch hitters first so that you're not stuck with guys who've looked to have no clue at the plate(Theriot), hitting because you're too busy waiting for some pefect oppurtunity to use your best pinch hitter. That wasn't sarcasm, but re-reading it now I can understand how it could be taken for that.

    Just because Theriot calls the ball doesn't make it his. Outfielders overrule infielders because it is generally easier for an outfielder to make the play. Hence, Soriano's ball.
