When did national broadcasts become, let's put multiple guys in the booth who are somehow tied to the teams on the field and have them go back and forth all game?

Well, I'm not opposed to a 2 year deal either at a slightly more reasonable AAV. But I would think a 2 year deal is about the worst thing for Happ himself. He either takes a longer term (3+) year deal, or a 1 year deal to hopefully lead into one last longer term deal.
