    I thought so too until I saw the replay and he was playing WAY over in the hole. I think it was more positioning than range... not that he has good range either.

    Playoff push for Iowa or Tenn Tennessee's tied for first in their division and Iowa is 2 back in their division. That means both teams are full of future major league stars, right?

    Hey, it worked in Colorado. Maybe it was just coincidence, but they sure turned their season around after their manager was fired.

    The 2004 team was a bigger disappointment, but at least they played something resembling good baseball for most of the season. This team is just extremely mediocre at best.

    For me it's less depressing to think of his contract as a 5 year deal starting next year, rather than an 8 year deal with 5 years remaining.

    I know I pointed that out awhile back. Funny that they are promoting their team based on a first round series they ultimately lost, with several big moments that were made by a player that bolted for one of our big rivals after the season. I guess their 2009/10 motto can't really be, "We're putting all our eggs in one basket for the 2010 offseason."

    It seems like the Cubs never win a late west coast game. I always end up going to bed tired and angry.
