    Maybe... But probably not. There's a long way to go between where they are right now, and fighting for the last Wild Card spot.

    I would say it's time to go with Nico in the leadoff spot every day. He consistently gives the best at bats of anyone in the lineup. Put Busch cleanup and PCA 6th to spread the lefties out.

    The Cubs really need to figure out a way to keep McGuire on the roster until the September expansion. He is a solid backup and really good insurance for another catcher injury down the stretch. Can they afford to DFA Berti to keep McGuire?

    I am curious what the reduced time of games has done to concession revenue, and whether it is actually showing any measurable benefit in other areas. Anecdotally, I haven't heard anyone say they are now attending or watching on TV because the games are shorter.
