What a difference a day makes... In less than 24 hours, Thornton goes from the highest of high leverage situations to pitching in a 7 run laffer. -

It's gonna suck when the Cubs get a runner on base and Shaw takes the at bat in place of Ballasteros. It was the right move to pinch run for him, but it didn't work out.

Nobody is, but anything to make another dollar. The same reason we will eventually see the MLB playoffs further diluded with additional teams that don't belong.
