If one wanted to hold out Lester and Hendricks for the last two games, which I don't, I'd much rather try to get 6 or 7 innings out of Wood, Montgomery and Zalphabet than toss Hammel out there against an all lefty attack. -
How could anyone favor Hammel, Lester and Hendricks over Lester, Hendricks and Arrieta?

I agree with a few other posters that this is where Lackey earns his paycheck. My unlikely star with the bat for tonight is Heyward. It may have to wait until the starter gets pulled if Maddon decides to go with Soler again tonight, but we are winning this game. It's going to be hot as blazes for these next two games. Also, no marine layer, so the ball will travel well. Keep the ball down, Lackey!

After winning the league last year, I'm sitting 0-3 already this year. I was favored in all 3 match ups. I was favored by nearly 10 points this week, and I'm currently losing by 21.5 points and he still has Brees going tonight. Ass whoopin'. Think I have a bullseye on my forehead.

Has there been any word on who Lester will trust to catch his pitches next year? The David Ross era certainly didn't go as expected. And that's a good thing! It makes me happy! I do hope he comes back as a coach in the near future.
