  1. It's wild speculation after you factor in his performance during his rookie season.
  2. Thabo played pro ball in Europe from 17 on, and he, Duhon and Hinrich were all 22 at the start of their rookie seasons in the NBA. Minutes played do not factor into PER. It's a per minute stat.
  3. I thought playoff tickets go on sale 10 am this Saturday?
  4. All depends on the seeding and Nocioni's health. If they lose their opening round series, presuming they have home court, that assessment's probably fair. If they end up the 5 seed and lose to the Pistons in the second round, I don't see any shame or blame in that.
  5. thabo is their 2 guard with size. he just hasn't been given the minutes this year. i'm sure he'll be phased into the standard rotation eventually. he's good when i've seen him out there, and he'll be able to guard players like kobe and lebron when he gets more minutes. edit- there isn't anyone we could get in the draft who'd be a better option. Thabo's 8.39 PER this season leaves a lot to be desired. Duhon's PER his rookie season was 9.87. Hinrich's was 13.12, Gordon's 14.92. Perhaps Thabo will blossom with more minutes, but there's also a good chance he'll never be more than a role player like Duhon.
  6. Why? Would be a great win, but why is it must-win? The Cavs have a game left at Detroit as well.
  7. i would like the thank the flu germs that decided to shack up in Chris Webber and Rip Hamilton's intestines yesterday Meh. The Bulls were minus Nocioni last night, and a full-strenght Pistons squd beat the Bulls by 2 points at Auburn Hills last month. EDIT: Sit on your reply for 20 minutes and your points get made by somebody else.
  8. I will be there.
  9. Never a doubt in my mind. They'll lose their next 3 too. Oh well. A Cavs loss is probably better than a Knicks loss at this point. Bulls one game back of the 2 seed, and it's one game back in the loss column.
  10. Knicks' losing streak has improved the odds.
  11. Hansbrough is closer to 6-7 than 6-9, and he has short arms. He won't be able to push post defenders around in the NBA. If you believe McRoberts isn't big enough to be a force underneath, I'm having trouble understanding why you see Hansbrough having a lengthy NBA career.
  12. A lot depends on who declares. Ford reports that Oden and Conley are leaning toward declaring for this year's draft even though a lot of reports have them out. Today, ESPN's mock has the Bulls selecting Yi Jianlian with the 9th pick more often than not. I could live with that.
  13. Never a doubt in my mind. They'll lose their next 3 too.
  14. which would make him redundant on the Bulls, as we already have Noc filling that role An excellent point if Nocioni were 6-10. And if Noc was a flopper who constantly whined to the refs. Are you referring to Murphy or McRoberts? Either way, Nocioni mastered flopping long ago.
  15. which would make him redundant on the Bulls, as we already have Noc filling that role An excellent point if Nocioni were 6-10.
  16. Today's Bulls game isn't televised because the Pacers have gone into the toilet. It was an ABC game two weeks ago, but they dropped it and made the Suns - Kings game national. Grrrr.
  17. I like Brewer, Young and Rush, but the only wing player the Bulls are likely to select over an athletic 4 with size like McRoberts is Durant, I suspect. I can't see them taking a PG like Law either. McRoberts stock is down at the moment, but I bet his stock improves after the pre-draft camps and workouts. I'd be surprised to see him available in the 12-15 range the Bulls are likely to pick, and it could end of being a great buy-low pick if he's there.
  18. It's the top two seeds, not the top three, that are determined by overall record. Too bad, too. The Bulls are the 5 seed at present despite having a better winning percentage than both the Wizards and the Raptors.
  19. The wasted draft pick finishes the game with 23 points, 9 boards, and at least 3 high-light reel dunks in 29 minutes. The Bulls are 10 games over .500. They were 29-37 last year after 66 games. Fire Paxson.
  20. What's the ID number?
  21. Given home court and health, I think the Bulls can beat any team in the East in a 7-game series.
  22. What opportunity? The Heat's record since Wade went down is 5-2 including wins against the Cavs, Pistons, Wizards and Bulls. Blow-outs are no fun, but I've been expecting the Bulls to lose the second game at Miami ever since they beat down the Heat by 42 in Miami on opening night.
