  1. This seems oddly familiar. Didn't you express something similar back in November when the Bulls were 3-9? Or how about back in February when they struggled a bit heading into the All-Star break? Is this some kind of defense mechanism? Expect the worst and be surprised when things work out kind of thing? No one played better basketball down the stretch than the Bulls in the East. They have the best home record in the East. They have home court in their series against the Heat. I don't understand the pessimism.
  2. Is there a reason for that? Yeah they are better than us. That and they have DWade, who in the playoffs gets fouls called for him in the pregame warmup. We are like the Mariners were a few years ago, built for the regular season. We just don't have that go to guy who can get his own one on one and in the NBA playoffs you need that. So you're also a Heat in 5 guy? Nah I think it goes 7, but I got them in 7. The Heat needed everything Wade had to beat the Pacers in Miami a couple nights ago. Wade's a shadow of what he was last year. Bring 'em on. Bulls in 6.
  3. Bastards. Yeah, that sucks more than losing the game to NJ. I'm still pissed about that 3 Eddie pulled out of his ass against the Bucks a couple of weeks ago. He had the game-winning tip today. That's to be expected. A 3 to send a game into overtime? Not so much.

  6. Awesome? They've been just horrible in the 4th quarter. I suspect he means their 20-8 record since the All-Star break. I expect the Bulls to beat the Heat. I do too, but what about Detroit? Bulls had a road to the East Finals made for them and all they had to do is win this one game. Meh. Losing to Detroit in the 2nd or 3rd round doesn't make that much difference to me. And I think it'll be a great series. I really, really hate the Heat. Look forward to ending their season.

  8. Were you expecting them to go 21-7 after the All Star break?
  9. Nothing new. Day-to-day.
  10. Yeah, the same Heat team with nothing to play for that just lost to the Celtics in Miami last night.
  11. What happens if the Wizards, Nets and Magic end up tied at 40-42? The first tie breaker is best head-to-head record among the three teams. Nets win first tie break with 6-2 record versus Magic and Wizards. Magic would win head to head tiebreaker with Wizards with a 9-7 div record versus 8-8 for Wizards. So a 3-way tie would result in: 6. Nets 7. Magic 8. Wizards

  14. Draft Probabilities As it stands today, the odds for the Bulls look like: 1 - 4.47% 2 - 5.12% 3 - 5.71 % 6 - 43.95 % 7 - 35.16 % 8 - 5.18 % 9 - 0.15 %
  15. He doesn't turn 19 until the end of September. He'll fill out, and he'll score 18-20 PPG as a rookie next year. IDK about that. If Durant ends up on a team like say the Bulls, via the Knicks, or perhaps even the Hawks, he may not get enough minutes---dispite his talent---to get 18-20 ppg. Now if it is a team like Boston, or Philly, then all bets are off. You don't know about it because there's maybe one team (he'd start from day 1 in Atlanta) in the draft with a shot at landing him where minutes could be a issue?
  16. You certainly live up to your name. Would you jump to Kenny Battle's defense as well? No need to answer that. We've hijacked this thread enough already.

  18. 190 We won't have an official weight until the combine, but my guess is closer to 190 than 220.
  19. What, you'd keep Thabo at the expense of Nocioni? i realize having too much talent at a position is not a bad thing, but depriving durant of minutes can't be a good thing either. Durant's such a chameleon; I don't think he'd have to take minutes away from Deng and Noc necessarily.
  20. I expect Deng's contract to be very reasonable. I think Pax's plan has been to keep and pay Nocioni, Deng and Gordon all along. Adding Oden or Durant would complicate things down the road, but not for 3, 4 years -- and what a delicious problem to have.
  21. What, you'd keep Thabo at the expense of Nocioni?
  22. no doubt, but isn't he gone anyway? No. Nocioni's a restricted free agent and everything I've read points to Pax intending on keeping him.
  23. You can always find playing time for a guy of Durant's ability. yeah, i'd have to say goodbye to deng in that case. Nocioni well before Deng, and Thabo well before Noc.
  24. ESPN has the Bulls selecting Brandon Wright in the 6, 7 slot. He'd be a great value there. If given the chance, I'm sure the Bulls would select Oden, Durant and Horford before Brandon. If Oden declares, I can't see any team trading out of the top two spots in the draft for any price, including the Bulls.
