  1. SF/PF from Georgetown. Did you watch March Madness this year?
  2. How do you figure that? He had a post scorer in Curry up until two years ago.
  3. The Bulls weren't on Webber's list of teams, and they didn't have a MLE available to use this year even if he'd wanted to play here.
  4. The Bulls do not need to win the lottery to find an inside scorer in this draft. It's deep and filled with PF-C prospects. With the loss of P.J.'s expiring contract, the Bulls are also likely out of any trades for a superstar this off season. They'd need to sign Deng and Gordon to extensions and then trade them both for Garnett to get the salaries to match up at this point. That's too much to pay for KG. As far as this series goes, I'm surprised the games have been so one-sided but I expected the Bulls to drop the first two games. I think they'll win games 3 and 4 at home and drop games 5 and 6.
  5. I expect the Heat to win this game. I'll be ecstatic if the Bulls steal it, of course. Just won't be disappointed if they lose. A double-digit win by the Heat wouldn't shock me.
  6. Paxson on Mike North this morning. I can't stand North, but it's good listening.
  7. Apples and oranges. The Bulls won 75% of their home games this season. The Cubs won 54% of their home games in 2003.
  8. The Heat themselves were down 2-0 in the Finals last year and came back. I have never contradicted myself in a post like this before. The 2-3-2 format of the Finals seems more conducive to that kind of comeback. Can anyone honestly see the Heat winning this series with Wade in his present form? I can't, and I don't see how Wade's shoulder can get better without surgery.
  9. The Bulls really needed to win one in Miami last year. That's the beauty of home court.
  10. I'll be there as well. Can't wait despite the thunderstix.
  11. The calls will go the Heat's way in Miami. Not worried about things changing drastically in Chicago.
  12. I don't have a problem with him. I surely wouldn't say I hated him because the umpires give him a smaller strike zone. How irritatingly magnanimous of you. Keep on liking the best player on rival teams, and leave us haters alone.
  13. Do you like Pujols?
  14. I believe it's teams that win game one win the series 75% of the time.
  15. Not without home court in the second round. I think the Bulls could get past the Pistons, but I wouldn't call it likely.
  16. Being able to extend Nocioni, Deng and Gordon means the Bulls cap situation is currently very good.
  17. I thought it was the Vegas line at first at that seemed high to me given national opinion. Also wanted my 6 wins opinion to be on the over side.
  18. I've got the over if we're getting technical. On the 6.5 or the 5.5? The 5.5 but 6.5 wouldn't surprise me. I think they beat the Heat and scare the Pistons.
  19. I've got the over if we're getting technical.
  20. I don't think 3.5 is low at all. Check out the picks on ESPN and tell me how many of their analyists think the Bulls are going to beat the Heat. A number of members here don't see the Bulls advancing either. Do you see them beating the Heat?
  21. Who's number is this? Mine. Just trying to gauge what people think they'll do. I assumed most think they'll make it out of the 1st, and win a few against Detroit. I don't think most assume they'll make it out of the 1st. I'm surprised you didn't set it at 3.5. That's the over/under for me as far as disappointment goes. I think 6 is the number. 7 won't surprised me. 8 and above would thrill me.
  22. Who's number is this?
  23. The Bulls aren't 10th. There's a three-way tie for 8th. Not as nice as being tied for 6th, but not as bad as being 10th all alone either.
