This is what I have been saying since the end of last season: http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey I think the way Q gives out ice time - especially on the 3rd line and pairing - has Bowman miffed. Stan is trying to maintain organizational depth through the draft (the right way, IMO) and Q has a very hard time trusting anyone young. Then he goes out gives up a number 1 to acquire a solid veteran who is at worst a spectacular addition to the 3rd line, and Q moves him around a ton before humiliatingly benching him during the first couple of games of the 1st Round. Sort of reminds me of the guy who coaches another team in the same building, except that Q has two Cups, which in my mind gives him more rope, but not sure Stan feels the same. Big changes are potentially afoot this offseason (Sharp, the entire 3rd pairing, Oduya, Richards, and potentially Bickell or Shaw). Q might just excuse himself from the situation.
