There's a better than average chance the Cardinals are going down to the Royals (Ragans) tonight. Sucks Lugo won't be going tomorrow. Guess it'll be Noah Cameron for the Royals tomorrow think he's got a chance to be effective.

Actually a pretty good breaking ball from Pressly there although, I don't blame Palacios for looking shocked he somehow struck out.

PCA picked Lopez up nevertheless, had any of the 3B been able to put the ball in play they may have 12+ runs up on the board.

At least he's not kicking the ball all over the place right now, compared to what they've had at 3B, that's enough.

I'm sorry but, there's nothing at all impressive about Horton. It's mistake after mistake after mistake maybe. it's a learning curve, still, discouraging.

If true, sounds like Ben Johnson is going to fix it, I don't think he's in the business of giving free passes to anyone. Moreover, I remember, at one point last season, many of the players were requesting they'd be coach harder, kept on task - Johnson will fix this as well. Thought I read something about Poles questioning lack of attentiveness during training camp? If so, my guess is he stepped in and talked to Eberflus, of course, once you set the tone of not being serious, etc. it's hard to break.

I agree, believe everyone except the Bears' brass knew Eberflus should have been fired, I still think Eberflus was foisted upon Poles. Poles knew full well Eberflus should have been fired, ownership had a heavy hand in him being retained. And I'm not certain they could have had Ben Johnson last season, I really think he wanted to finish the job in Detroit by helping them get to the SB.

Believe we read or heard of a high degree of un-professionalism, a lack of attention to detail amongst the last coaching staff. At the least, it sounds like the Bears have remedied those issues.

I believe the Bears have gone to great strides to put Caleb into a position where he can succeed and that's all you can ask of any team.

I remember that game, not only did Benson run all over the Bears, they seemed happy about it, helping him up, encouraging him, just over all delighted with his performance. That's the part I didn't get, congratulate an opponent after the game, during the game do everything in your power to grind him into dust.

Yes keep taking 2 of 3 and things will be alright. What is about the Marlins pitcher getting multiple strikes on obliviously low balls? Many of them not even close. Think Cubs pitchers got one maybe, two such calls.

He's had 3 good starts all year and, of course, one of them was against the Cubs. However, I don't think the Phillies are done scoring off Gray. And, as I was typing, Schwarber ties the game.
