  1. Knew I was forgetting someone, was it May or early June for his ETA?
  2. In the off season I'd like to see the Cubs pursue Cease. Cease, Horton, Boyd, Shota, Taillon could be okay.
  3. On PCA' steal is it possible Cronenworth was obstructing his path to the base?
  4. I think the Brewers were rooting hard for the Padres, the Cubs with a PCA and Tucker possibly coming out of it are far scarier.
  5. Definitely, an average SS doesn't make most of those plays. Fortunately, the Cubs have the best SS in the NL.
  6. Yeah, how many times have our Cubs been horsefeathered over by bad calls? Pendulum has to swing the other way once in a while.
  7. What, from Fermin? Can of corn, that clown is not going to beat you.
  8. This may be vulgar but, it's for the heart break of 1984 when a better Cubs team lost to the Padres - Shildt take Mason Miller and stick him up Tatis' ass! Bye, bye you pissant fucks!!!!
  9. Freddy Fermin is not going to beat you. Honestly, Tatis Jr. looked off, hurt, sick?
  10. Darvish doesn't have the stuff of Pivetta or Cease anymore, it's mainly about spin with location for him.
  11. Got revenge on the Giants for 1989, now, it's the Padres turn for 1984. I remember Gary Templeton talking some thrash after the Cubs went up 2-0, time to beat these fucks and their horsefeathers stained uniforms.
  12. At most, once through the lineup, maybe, the Cubs can make all academic by scoring some runs. A horsefeathers ton of runs would be nice.
  13. I suspect Shildt is going to have a very quick hook with Darvish, Cubs have to get to him early.
  14. The Padres blew they're wad today with Cease, they had to, given how well he's pitched lately. It was an almost a certain win for the Padres today. Darvish is a whole different story, he not what he was, has no margin for error. He's has the type of stuff the Cubs have crushed, think we'll see big things from Tucker and PCA. I'd much rather face Cease in game 2 than 3, that's why getting game 1 was so big.
  15. It's okay, really like the Cubs chances tomorrow, have to believe Morejon and Miller are done. Think they'll get to Darvish in a big way.
  16. PCA has not put the ball in play, what's record for consecutive K's in the post season?
  17. I really believe Wright being out had a ripple effect, had he played, Bears would have been fine. They would have turned one or more of those TO's in TD's.
  18. Me neither, an excellent chance the Reds season ends tonight. As much as I loath the Mets and find it completely awesome and hilarious they missed the playoffs. They would have offered way more resistance than the Reds. Reds haven't a single hitter you'd fear in a high leverage situation.
  19. Even had Carlson FG not been blocked, I was confident Caleb would have been able to get the Bears in position for a GW FG attempt.
  20. Add Greene and maybe, Crochet to that list - he hit 100 on the last pitch he threw yesterday.
  21. Didn’t think the Reds would offer much resistance, they’re punchless. Dodgers would have rolled the Mets, though, the Mets would have been able trade some punches.
  22. Believe the GB to Vest was the first out of the inning so, still have two outs, two chances to get the runner home. Nevertheless. i believe we can agree the baseball world does not care as much about Red Sox - Yankees as ESPN does.
  23. Early game today, terrible base running by a really good base runner. With Vest on the mound, infield in, Guardians would managed to at least tie the game.
