  1. Told my wife if they can survive the first 5 minutes or so of OT they'd win. The Wings were pushing hard and would have been spent nevertheless, it's only the beginning for our Hawks.
  2. Getting away with it and having the right to do it aren't really the same thing. I wonder if, like Big 10 BB Officials, some MLB Umpires think the fans come to see them and not the baseball.
  3. Seriously, when he's not hitting there's not a more useless player in baseball.
  4. Lazy? How many times have we've seen him take the wrong angle on a ball, then loaf to it after it gets past him? Ask Demp about that - see his last start in St. Louis.
  5. Thank you Mister lazy pos Soriano, all because you can't cleanly pick up a slow rolling gb.
  6. Well, lets hope the Hawks cash in on their chances today for, with Huet in goal we can expect him to let in two or more soft goals. If a Hawk snatched the mouthpiece of any Wings Euro-players I'm certain those players would crumple to ice as if they'd been punched in the face.
  7. Wrong thread but, nevertheless, pretty much the manner in which every Cub game has ended lately.
  8. What a fitting ending to the trip another Bradley grounder that barely made it to an infielder.
  9. i think this is the question of the year and the moment his head, and others, really should be on the block and prepared to roll down the stairs when ownership changes The point is when or if this team can get healthy and play to their abilities its superior to every other team in the NL Central. I don't think you can blame him for all the injuries.
  10. Soriano taking the wrong angle and loafing on a catch able ball just adds to the frustration.
  11. Tha was just plain stupid, take the out.
  12. You knew that dumb error would materialize into something.
  13. But, but, but, it's the Wings there so awesome, clean and play straight up.
  14. An average goaltender would have stopped those last two goals.
  15. Kronwal is a [expletive], bigger hitter, yeah right, more like wait until a player has his down then line him up.
  16. I wonder what their reaction would be should it have been Red Wing taken out in such a manner.
  17. The puck being near Havlat' stick offered Kronwal the perfect opportunity and excuse to potentially take Halvat' out of the game and feign innocence. Sure, it was "clean" but, it was also gutless because Havlat' head was down and there was not intent on the puck.
  18. Get ahead 0-2 - check Hang a slider over the middle of the plate - check
  19. Dumbass Soriano misses on baseball 101 hit the cut off man.
  20. What do you know even a crap hitter like Gwynn Jr. can hit a hanging breaking ball - wish the Cubs could.
  21. I hear you, not to take anything from the Wings but, they got every bounce in Games 1 and 2.
  22. Anyone else growing tried of seeing Lee take rolling get me over breaking balls and bp fastballs on the first pitch?
  23. No bouncing puck that time, Sharp smoked it, 'bout time.
  24. That's a much more glowing review than every other account I've heard of that practice. Apparently, there were lots of drops. Receivers are having trouble adjusting to the heat on Cutler's throws. Not that it matters much, it's the first day of OTAs. Still a ways to go. I read that too, which seems completely contradictory to the Daily Herald article saying only one ball hit the ground. And the Daily Herald article is definitely wrong. There's footage of way more than one drop. Maybe he wrote that after only watching a part of practice or something. He wrote "of his first 40 or so passes" and said most were against air. I'm sure he was just talking about the beginning of practice. You know it's still shocking that the Bears have the best QB in the NFC North along with one of the NFC's best.
  25. A-soapdropping-men! Most especially when the Cardinals sans Pujols are a AAAA team but, I take it with grain of salt, come September or maybe even July when they're healthier and playing better that sweep will be returned and then some.
