  1. Correct me if I'm wrong but, as OF don't you initially break back on the ball then adjust in?
  2. That's what I was thinking as well, there's a good chance the Cubs are going score early and often vs Bush and Suppan.
  3. The most upsetting feature of this game maybe the Cubs issuing what, 5+ BB? To a team that swings at anything close.
  4. with braun running? they had a better chance than they did at home. and weeks was definitely safe. With Theriot' noodle arm there was a far better chance of turning the DP than throwing out the runner at home.
  5. Two BB's for Hart who doesn't take many pitches!
  6. Most especially with someone, in Marshall, who occasionally has trouble finding the strike zone.
  7. That might be acceptable against a Tim Lincecum (sp?) or Josh Beckett but, vs. Looper? Come on.
  8. It amazes me how many swings and misses a guy with Looper' stuff gets.
  9. To those with MLB Gameday Audio subscriptions - Are you having any trouble with the WGN feed?
  10. Forced to listen to the Houston feed, WGN crapped out, early on the they had some chick talking about job openings, a little later, they were eating pie.
  11. Its really annoying when crap hitters like Bourne keep getting on base vs Cubs.
  12. Anyone remember that game at Wrigley where he got hit and acted like he was dead? Didn't it hit off his bat? I also have a vague memory of him laughing about it at 1B. It may have, he was laughing because he managed to come back from the dead.
  13. Anyone remember that game at Wrigely where he got hit and acted like he was dead?
  14. How about Hoff for Lee in one of the upcoming games?
  15. How about a pop fly HR or two for the Cubs?
  16. And Keppinger. That's bad. I'd be willing to put down a large amount of money that those 3 don't all homer in the same game again this year. Pudge is going to abuse those Crawford boxes this year. I think he hits 15-20 homers (total). I don't know about that, there's a reason no one signed him until late March - he's done.
  17. A 2R HR to a beyond done Pudge Lilly? Come on...
  18. Losing to Assblows is one thing but, their acting like they just won the WS is really annoying most especially on the back of dribblers through the infield. In addition to the Cubs winning the WS I'd like to see them: 1. Beat Randy Johnson 2. Beat the incongruous blob known as Valverde in a save situation
  19. John Kruk on BBT, said Jeter' range at SS is a little indifferent, what the hell does that mean?
  20. just wait until November You've got a point.
  21. Games, over, congrats to UNC but, I'd still like to see someone dunk in Hansbrough face.
  22. Tyler Hansbrough's done a nice job in this tournament of proving he's no more than the 3rd best player on Carolina. I've been saying that all year, but no Carolina fan will listen to me. Oh, well. I have a friend that's a diehard Carolina fan who has said all year long that he's the second best player on the team (which I agree with). Ellington's had a superb tournament though. I'm watching and I really don't see National Player of Year skill or talent in Hansbrough, how did he win it in 2008?
  23. UNC is better but, what if MSU would have worked the ball more inside, looks to me like Suton could have done some work on Hansbrough.
