  1. What's worse than the loss is hearing and reading Lovie' and Angelo' dumb-ass rationalizations and excuses.
  2. Once again if that's a Bear defender it's PI
  3. I look it at this way after Farve costs them a Super Bowl they're going to have some garbage QB while the Bears will have a Pro Bowl caliber QB.
  4. It's pretty bleak right now but, the Bears have the most important starting piece a real good young QB. He's 1000X better than Orton in every facet of the game now, to find a decent GM and Coach to start building.
  5. If our corners do anything but let the reciever catch the pass, PI will be called, book it
  6. PI and not even close
  7. That should have been an easy TD, Knox had him clearly beat.
  8. I know the Bears suck and all but, there have been some obvious holding calls missed.
  9. Color me shocked
  10. Forte could learn from Manning.
  11. Actually that helps the Vikings more room to work with
  12. Isn't there something about the ball being catchable?
  13. Amid all this Farve love, I guarentee you at some point in the playoffs he's going to force a throw that'll cost the Vikings dearly.
  14. I agree, if don't make it, I'd rather the Vikings go 30 or so yards to score rather than the upcoming 95+ yard drive.
  15. Forte actually knocked a Viking on his ass!
  16. They're young, these kind of things are going to happen, come March I'm looking for improvement. If NCAA bound they'll blow a team like Utah off the floor, in fact, although it's small consolation, right now, I'll take the Illini 9 of 10 over Utah. Last night just happen to be that one game.
  17. Well, that confirms it, the Hawks are not the mediocrity that is the rest of Chicago sports teams. I thought they were far superior prior to this game but, I'd say there's no doubt now.
  18. I don't see it happening either. I'm guessing Lovie and Jerry get one last chance to make it work with a new OC next season. the problem there is the only kind of system that's easy enough to learn in such short a time is a turner-esque west coast system. Well yeah, it's not an ideal situation. I'd prefer they cut loose everybody and start fresh. But they will feel the need to do something, and the best thing they can do is try and get a guy who can salvage the Cutler experiment. Turner has never develop a top quality QB, college or pro. He's been around for a long time and hasn't done it. Maybe his system is fine, but he can't coach a QB to perform in it. I can't see the Bears giving them another chance to make a move with the defensive coordinator situation. The offense continues to disappoint, as it's been a bottom half squad for nearly every Ron Turner season. In 9 seasons as OC the offense has ranked in the top half only twice, and only once have they been top ten. They have been 20th or worst in most every other season. They've had a consistent lack of ability to move the ball and score points. They have to make some sort of move affecting the offense. Doesn't it all start with the OL? OL, for the most part, means draft, at which Angelo and Smith have shown they are unable to do well.
  19. I believe Bolland was expected to miss as much as 4 months. With an early November surgery that would keep him out until March, which might give him a month to get back into playing shape before the playoffs. So, it reads as if he's effectively done for the season.
  20. When is Bolland due to be back? Or, was his injury a season ending one? The most refreshing aspect of the Hawks, besides winning, compared to the Bears and Bulls is they're truly a good team, not the poor teams that are the Bears and Bulls. It's ashame ND gets more coverage in Chicago then this really good Blackhawk team.
  21. Man that sucked, I guess one can take comfort they'll get their asses kicked in the Rose Bowl.
  22. There's two another one coming up.
  23. Being on the other end of such scores I don't blame Standford or anyone else running up the score on them when they have the chance.
  24. Currently enjoying a boozy Bells Olde Ale while watching, got a growler of their Rye Stout which I'm going to soon tap.
