  1. I believe you're correct, should a miracle somehow occur, Lovie will right there to tell everyone I told you so.
  2. Lovie you're one big [expletive] idiot when it comes to coaching football - plain and simple.
  3. Lovie really is stubborn to the point of stupidity, it hasn't worked, it doesn't work, it'll never work with this roster.
  4. Did you mean HB? http://profootballfocus.com/by_position.php?tab=by_position&season=2009&pos=HB&stype=r&runpass=&teamid=-1&numsnaps=25&numgames=1
  5. I know Martz has the potential to turn out badly, but I'm really curious to see what he would do with a quarterback like Cutler. It could be a great hire. I believe there's a chance it may work out as well, it's not as if the cupboard is completely bare, Cutler, Aromashodu, Olsen, Hester and Bennett in the hands of the right OC could be effective.
  6. Listening to Ed and Doug last night on the Score, they mentioned that Lovie is very stubborn and is quite probably going to continue with the same defensive scheme. It's obvious the scheme doesn't work very well, could mean he doesn't have the players for it, players aren't going to change much. Yet, he'll continue to employ the same ineffective defense rather, than try to come up with something to better utilize what his players bring to the table. What do you call it when someone continues to use the something that doesn't work over and over - stupid.
  7. I know it was a meaningless game for the Bengals (vs. the Jets) but, I'm beginning to wonder if the massacre of the Bears was the high point of their season.
  8. Rashied Davis needed a job. Lovie Smith the Dusty Baker of the NFL.
  9. The success of Aromoshadu and moving Williams to LT alone are reason enough to fire Lovie, I still didn't catch his excuse for not playing Aromoshadu earlier. What was it?
  10. What a fool. He always seem to have some excuse. And his adjustments seemed to work so well this year. What are the odds this fool ever gets a job again. Lovie' next gig.
  11. It was actually Dave Williams. Thanksgiving 1980 against the Lions. I remember listening to the game on the radio while driving somewhere. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/198011270det.htm I also distinctly remember Jimmy the Greek, during CBS' halftime show, saying the Bears would win in OT.
  12. Very frustrating losing to POS team, according to metrics posted earlier Dallas is a pretty crappy team and the Hawks have managed to lose to them TWICE.
  13. imo, this is seriously the biggest deal about this game for us as a team going into the future. he did extremely well against one of the best DEs in the league. Not once did anyone of those ass-munch ESPN announcers give Williams any credit, it was all about Allen not having a good game.
  14. Compared to crap we've seen out of Cutler since what, week 5, Cutler was great tonight.
  15. Neither of those teams will be in the NFC Championship. Sounds good to me, as long as Farve somehow ends up with egg on his face and the Vikings don't win the Super Bowl. Not winning the Super Bowl means he'll end with egg on his face? He played a great game tonight and took control of things in the second half. It's not his fault the o-line has stretches where they don't know how to block and the defense suddenly is horrible. Or that the defensive coordinator (who supposedly would be a top target of the Bears if Lovie is fired) insists on blitzes that never get there and leaving an 80% CB one-on-one in overtime. Or has a running back who fumbled the game away. I wouldn't be surprised to see him throw one of his trying to force the ball in there picks which costs the Vikings a playoff win.
  16. Neither of those teams will be in the NFC Championship. Sounds good to me, as long as Farve somehow ends up with egg on his face and the Vikings don't win the Super Bowl.
  17. Should the Vikings make to the NFC Championship game to face, quite probably, New Orleans, they'll get their asses kicked.
  18. Suck it Farve, Gruden and Jawroski, take Farve and sick him up your collective asses!!!!
  19. Fumble and not even close Farve!!!!!!!
  20. Forte really does suck yet, another position the Bears should be looking to improve.
  21. So do I, brother. So do I. Don't worry he'll throw dumb pick in the playoffs.
  22. What a surprise, everyone but the Bears knew it was going to Rice.
  23. Tell me Orton could have made such a throw, the tools are there.
  24. Forte runs like he's scared.
  25. I don't give Farve any credit at all on that drive, hell even, Cutler could have engineered that drive.
