  1. Miley, Chacin, Gonzalez the really good Brewers starters thus far, guess Gonzalez is out, so who will see next? Davies or Anderson? Maybe Chacin on short rest on Friday? Why not? He'll probably toss 5-6 shutout innings.
  2. Maybe the Brewers are really good Miley, Chacin, Gonzalez the really good Brewers starters thus far, guess Gonzalez is out, so who will see next? Davies or Anderson?
  3. Bears should have won regardless but, I did find a missed blatant holding call quite funny, think it was one of the LB's. He was going to nail Gore for a loss but, couldn't get to the spot because the Miami blocker was holding his anke!
  4. He was the terrible QB we saw for most of the first 3 games in the 1st half, was definitely better in the 2nd half, wasn't quite so terrible.
  5. Literally gave the game away, defense was terrible the whole day couldn't manage to show up for at least one series.
  6. What Superman didn't hit a walk off? What the horsefeathers?
  7. Appears they gotten it wrong in BB as well, just sad, they've been surpassed by Northwestern (in BB as well, long surpassed in FB). Completely disagree, Underwood was a great hire and they have a really solid, deep class coming in this year. That is an awful take for a single year. I hope you're correct, although, I believe he's the only Big Ten Coach without a 2019 commitment which is discouraging.
  8. 5 mil a year for Lovie. I know coaches usually deserve 1 full recruiting cycle but, they would be justified if they canned him. Appears they gotten it wrong in BB as well, just sad, they've been surpassed by Northwestern (in BB as well, long surpassed in FB).
  9. Awesome MSU!!! Love seeing Penn State go down!!!
  10. Given how they've been playing with every move working to perfection can you blame him?
  11. They've only 6 SR on the whole roster, I know playing all the FR will payoff at some point but, it is Illinois and Lovie Smith.
  12. I despise Penn State, shouldn't have a football program at all. I know Franklin wasn't there and its irrational but, I loathe him.
  13. Isn't Counsell himself an example of a crappy hitter who had a hot streak during the playoffs? By the way, I'm shocked the Dodgers managed to get a run, thought DP for certain after the Puig K.
  14. That happens often in the playoffs some random otherwise bad player gets on a hot streak. He'll go back to being a terrible hitter next season.
  15. First HR off a SP all year Smoltz just mentioned, by the way, that's probably the ball game. What's Miley' status for next season? I hope the Brewers get duped by this hot streak and add him to their rotation in 2019.
  16. Man, Gio in game 1 and Miley in game 2. How did these losers reach the NLCS. The Dodgers are going to destroy them. They’re destined to just keep winning despite it making no sense. No reason to think otherwise. Starting a guy with the 4th worst BB%, 20th worst FIP, and 10th worst xFIP in MLB of qualified starters this year will somehow work out for them tomorrow same with starting Wade Miley Saturday who was nearly out of baseball going in to the year. But, but, they're soo good, Gio and Miley are solid starters, luck, etc. is a non-factor.
  17. Without question they're better than the Cubs this season (what a stretch), doesn't mean the Cubs done. I've stated it before but, I believe we're going to see a big time bounce back from the Cubs in 2019, which sounds kind of strange given they won 95 in one fucked up, bad luck kind of season this year.
  18. Well there's Great Lakes Brewing plus the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame... Had friends that lived in Cleveland during college. Visited them for a weekend, spent the day at Great Lakes, had a great time. Went back the next year, asked what the plans were. "Well...how about Great Lakes?" Met some people from Cleveland this summer, nice people, raved about Great Lakes, can't say I blame them - Edmund Fitzgerald Porter is amongst best Porters I've ever had.
  19. Most importantly, they still have to live in Cleveland. Well there's Great Lakes Brewing plus the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...

    NFL Week 5

3 in a row for the Lions over the Packers, watched most of the game yesterday, Rodgers fumbled twice, lost one, came close to throwing a pick. Overall, despite throwing for 400+ yards, looked less than an awesome Super QB, was waiting for him to come up with a spectacular 4th quarter comeback never happened. Maybe, these days, he saves that only for the Bears. It would be great to see the Bears beat him and Packers down in December, based upon what I saw yesterday coupled with an improving Bears team, I think there's a chance.
  21. You're correct but, I do believe we're going to see and hear quite a bit how much better the Brewers are than Cubs, etc. going into next season.
  22. Hell, I hope they win the WS, while a good team they've had an incredible number of things work out perfectly - Wade Miley? Are you kidding me? I hope Brewers fans appreciate what's happening because, there's a slim to none chance it'll happen again in their lifetime. It'll be fun next pre-season-season when everyone dismisses the Cubs and talks Brewers, Brewers while the Cubs quietly get healthy, sign Harper and blow away the NL Central.
  23. As you alluded to the Cubs are stuck with him, relative to his statistics he was historically bad last this season. Wouldn't be surprised if bounces back with at least an average season, for him, which would a marked improvement. Darvish, Chatwood and Morrow all blew up this season, I think its a pretty safe bet one of them will have a good 2019.
  24. Being held to 1 run or less runs 40 or whatever the horsefeathers times seems like a statiscal anomaly, it won't happen again. A statistical anomaly is definitely not 25% Ok, bet you $1.00 it doesn't happen next season.
