  1. Besides death and taxes, there's another sure thing in life, if the McCaskey' did the hiring it's a total cluster horsefeathers.
  2. If starting over means the Bears are sold then yes, if means the McCaskey' are back to finding a GM. etc., what's the point?
  3. Rather than being aggressive and give your young QB horsefeathers anything positive, I'm calling run-ville for 2nd half, you can count on it.
  4. Getsy is a terrible coach, such coaches do things like over-correct, for example, trying to make Fields into something he is not is an over-correction. So, I fully expect an over-correction today, a massive amount of running. Including too many designed runs for Fields, maybe, this will help keep the score respectable but, it won't show any signs of progress.
  5. Think there's an excellent chance the Marlins lose tonight, Woodruff has dominated them, Diamondbacks were postponed, Pirates-Reds: bad pitcher vs. bad picther, still wouldn't be shocked if the Pirates win. Cubs take care of business, good things will happen.
  6. Flexen' really bad, Rockies have one win in his last five starts, which, of course, was against the Cubs. All the Cubs need to do is clobber the guys the whole league has been pounding and they'll be okay.
  7. He's probably not, more than likely just another Bears GM failure, it really is beyond comprehension how the McCaskey' who, regardless of the task, always get it wrong, it's uncanny.
  8. Swanson should be pushed further down, he's pretty much an automatic out in clutch situations. Put him in a place where's he's less likely to come up in such situations.
  9. The Bears won't, of course win, but, I'm strangely optimistic we'll see some good things out of Fields, a lot less of the garbage we've seen in weeks 1 and 2.
  10. Based upon what we've thus far seen from Young maybe, it's true that Poles was not enamored of any of the QB prospects and decided to roll the dice with Fields. Had he been sold, I don't believe he would have hesitated to trade Fields and take his QB.
  11. Doubt anything positive will come of it nevertheless, aren't good things allowed to happen for the Bears? Since the Bears are the current laughing stock of the NFL must, every horsefeathers outcome be bad?
  12. I watched some of his play from the 2021 Sugar Bowl, I know plenty here, including me, are down of Fields. However, I didn't see any of the garbage we've seen to open the season in that game. Left foot back, quick drops, rip it, even, gasp, anticipation throws, college defenses are for horsefeathers nevertheless, if that Fields shows up, it'll be for the better.
  13. That's not his job, Getsy should know how to use the things he does best. Really, Getsy should be terminated this instance. Also, sure would help if Garret Wilson, JSN and Paris Johnson Jr. hell, Chris Olave as well, came with him.
  14. This constant talk of Fields and footwork has me focusing, probably too much, on this aspect of quarterbacking. On the surface, it appears Bagent' footwork and timing are superior to Fields. Although, once Bagent' in a real NFL game, I do not know how that translates. But, these QB gurus keep harping on this part of Fields' game.
  15. They would be dumb enough to not realize the cover-up will hit just as hard the original crime, wouldn't they?
  16. I don't blame for him basically saying horsefeathers you to Getsy for not only trying to turn me into something I'm not but, in the process, making me look really bad.
  17. If true, I don't blame the Bears for not wanting say anything, the press is taking them to task because of their silence. Think the press will feel like a bunch of dickheads when they find out? Probably not.
  18. He shot the Archduke Ferdinand, JFK and RFK.
  19. That would be the final step in the Bears' replacing the Detroit Lions as the NFL's laughing stock - if it hasn't already occurred.
  20. Booze, flashed a blind person?
  21. I think so, he's reached horsefeathers it and its for the better, not only for him but, for the Bears. The mistake was/is trying to turn him in to something he's not nor will ever be, that's not to say there cannot be improvements in his passing game. It's a quality OC who's going to find a way to put him in a position to succeed either Getsy figures that out or he's gone.
  22. Watched some analysis by Orlovsky, most especially on the route were Johnson, et. al. are wide open. Fields loads up to throw, without question, he processes it, sees it, just doesn't throw the ball. I'm not saying his pocket passing problems will disappear however, there's no question on some routes, plays he's seeing the correct things, just has to let it rip. Justin if you're going to salvage you're career, you've got to hit the horsefeathers it button and let it rip.
  23. Is asking the Bears to at least be competitive too much? It's not as if they're completely devoid of any talent, managing to be competitive shouldn't be unrealistic.
  24. Nothing, like I said a completely random and outrageous thought on my part.
  25. I know it's a completely radical idea, the most realistic hope for the Bears is them being sold.
