    I've read/heard overtones of such on the Score, the Herd and Sports Mockery, on second thought all of sources are garbage and shouldn't be taken seriously. It's frustrating having see them do well while Caleb struggles, in time I strongly believe Caleb will out perform all of them while they revert to same mediocre to average QB's they've always been.

    The Panthers, Vikings and Packers would take Williams over Daulton, Darnold and Willis in a nano-second, frustrating reading about how they're so much better than Caleb. Sure, they put few good games together but, there's reason why they've been with multiple teams and are backup QB's.

    Yes, however, you can't watch the film break down without coming away with the thought there's something good there, plenty of times we had squint really hard to come away with a positive note on break downs of Fields.

    is accurate to say we're seeing things from Caleb we never saw from Mitch or Justin? And, despite all the bad play from the line and bad play calling, it's only a matter of time before things start to click for Caleb and the Bears?

    Beyond all of this Eberflus' continued game mismanagement is the most egregious and unforgivable, there's middle and high school coaches who are doing a better job. If I'm Poles I get Eberflus in a room and say - "dude get your horsefeathers horsefeathers together NOW!"

    Evidence that this narrative of DET, GB and Minn being light years ahead of the Bears is nonsense. Yes, currently, they're better, however, I don't believe there's a rule against the Bears cleaning up their act and improving.

    Most definitely the second option, the first option is the realm of Mitch and Justin are your QB's and will eventually get ugly and lead to mostly losing.

    I honestly believe Ohtani had no intentions of signing anywhere else, it was always going to be the Dodgers. The frustrating is Jed stringing us along, just like he'll attempt to do with Soto this coming off-season. Soto, like Ohtani, has one destination in mind - New York - well, maybe two - Mets or Yankees.

    It's a throw like this and others we saw which gives me hope. We didn't see much, if any, this from Trubisky and Fields, I believe we'll continue to see more of these plays from Williams in the coming weeks. Right now there's a horsefeathers-ton of bad, mixed in is some good and don't have to look that hard to see it. The good offering some light at the end of the tunnel, just it's going to be a really long tunnel. A long tunnel with non-stop look how much better Darnold, Daulton and Willis are than Williams BS.

    In this scenario there's a better chance Williams get his first TD pass sooner while giving the Bears the lead.

    Next time have Swift turn around and throw back to Williams who probably waltzes into end zone. Serious, just a feeble attempt by line as whole, there's the bad call plus a complete and utter failure to execute. It's literally the whole horsefeathers line, the poster child for OL ineptitude.

    That’s right keep the negativity coming, it’ll be all the more sweeter when Caleb makes these horsefeathers faces eat their words.

    People can make all the excuses they want about Caleb’ numbers being inflated by pass favorable situations. But, today we saw throws and glimpses of what Caleb can be as well, as what Rome can be. May take some time, it nevertheless, is going to happen.

    I'll take that and the loss versus the Colts winning with completely putrid QB play, Williams improving is going to translate to more wins down the road. In time, the Bears' opponents' MO of letting Trubisky or Fields play QB to beat you will not work with Caleb.

    False positives in sense of looking "good", as you've tabulated above, early in the season. Nevertheless, you are correct, mostly true negatives.

    Oh yeah, we've seen many false positives, hence, I'm cautiously, very cautiously optimistic.
