    The Mets should never, ever wear anything but solid blue caps and pinstripes at home, and grays and solid blue caps on the road. Their other uniforms are a disgrace.

    It disgusts me that one of baseball's signature events will be shown on a bottom-rung cable channel. TBS is trash. Oh well. TBSHD had better be in decent circulation a year from now. That channel is little more than a friggin' myth to me at this point.

    This one was easy to see coming. Even this place, a bastion of diehards, was sparsely populated after the All-Star Break this season. Dusty and his garbage were just unbearable to watch. This is more an indictment of Johnnie B. and Jimbo than anything else.

    You are an absolute genius, Derwood. Thanks. For my next trick, I'd also like to see the Super Bowl played in the stadium of one of the two teams playing in the game. Yes. And play a World Series game or two in the afternoon.

    The game itself has not been changed. It's ridiculous to suggest it has. They don't require 7 outs or 11 strikes. The game is the same, the start time changed. Big deal. Why does there have to be a benefit to fans to justify any change? It's not like it's harmful in any way. I know what you say, but I still think it feels added on, cheap, and tacky. Kinda like their whole damned organization.
