  1. We all know bullpens are fickle as the nature of why a guy gets sent to the pen, but they have to do more than get a room filled with waiver wire pick ups and 29 year old journeymen. Injuries aside. If you’re going to limit innings put in the young starters for regular work in the pen. I don’t know, but change what is not working
  2. It’s such a dumb argument. Todays NFL and the way the game was played 20 years ago are not analogous. Running backs were a significant percentage of offensive production, now, for the most part they are not. End of Story.
  3. Michigan is not good. They will not be until they modernize their offense
  4. lol, all Howard needed was to get promoted to a lesser league.
  5. How does Tom’s dick taste?
  6. Cubs raising season tickets by 3%. lol, I hate them so much. I’m not a season ticket holder but I hate them.
  7. Pasadena is awesome. I was there last year for a conference.
  8. Tua gonna be eating jello through a straw before he’s 50. He should retire like tomorrow.
  9. The Biscuits are in the playoffs for the 9th year in a row. I hope the Smokmies beat the Barrons. I'd love to watch them in the championship series.
  10. I do it by what is easiest for me to spell
  11. If the same things that Raw pointed out are happening again this week, it's time to fire up the hot seat on Eberflus.
  12. The owners will never agree to a cap with a floor and that is equitable to players like the NFL and NBA have. Not in a million years.
  13. A salary cap benefits the owners. All these owners can pay whatever they want to pay for whoever they want. Some choose not to do that. If they cannot they should get out of the sport. Without going too far out of territory- it's socialism for the owners and capitalism for the players—a microcosm of the USofA.
  14. I think it's between Counsell and the front office. There was an article in The Athletic about a game and Sharma put in a paragraph about Counsell being in "observational mode" for much of the year and hinting at changes in staff. But it very likely could be what Goony was talking about with the scouts, Jed and Kartonvitz (sp?).
  15. The things I like about Busch are his defense and his bat to ball skills. The things I don't like are his age and his slugging. If you can find a better fit, do it. He's not that special. The main thing he has going for him is his contract. That should not stop the team from improving the position if they can. The team needs slugging.
  16. It's genius, Jerry, genius!
  17. Rocker called up
  18. it doesn't bother me.
  19. There are about 30 posts in a row moaning about the Bears, same story different day in that thread. It's ok, people can fan the way they want to fan. It's so melodramatic. It doesn't change the fact that the rookie laid an egg, but it's also over the top. Some of it is visceral emotion.
  20. This can't be a financial decision, Can it? I mean those guys probably make the concessions profit from the 1st to the 5th inning of a random Wrigley game.
