    it's not the goal, but with competent coaching, it's not hard either. For example, Lovie Smith's Bears.

    I'm hoping but not expecting Hottovy to be in Ross's ear to get a guy up in the pen before the third time through the order, no matter what. The first sign of trouble he gets yanked. No sixth inning that starts out with him walking a guy, followed by a bloop single, followed by a three-run home run.
