  1. Those numbers don't support your argument one bit. We all watched this team last year.
  2. Depending on who becomes the HC, Atlanta appears to be a really good fit for Fields. I still think it’s a toss up if the Bears move on from him.
  3. Hot and long spells of cold. They are not consistently good.
  4. I don't know the reasons why they retained Eberflus other than what limited statements they made. It's clear that he's on the hot seat from now until the end of the next season or whenever he is fired. That is not a good environment in which to bring in a new QB. The only difference between this go around and the last is a new OC and QB coach. The Bears are a poorly run professional sports team that finds themselves in the same place they were four years ago. There is no getting around that. I'm sure Harbaugh knows that.
  5. I'm not sure where Derwood is getting his information from, but no one is giving a 31-year-old pitcher a 9-year contract.
  6. I like Stro, but he's going to give up a lot of HR pitching in the Bronx. I wish him well.
  7. He's already in his peak years, so...
  8. Lots to dream on.
  9. We have different definitions of trying. Whatever, I'll wait until ST to see what happens.
  10. I'm optimistic about Shaw given what he did last summer, But he's probably a September call-up at best with this administration. That's ok, It appears that they are not necessarily trying again this year. Nevertheless, I'd like for them to find a better option than Mr. Glass, Mr. K, and Mr. Hands-of-Stone (although Morel's problem appears to be footwork) for this year at least. Maybe Murry will be ready by June. It's what the Ricketts want in terms of building a team, they might as well throw them in the deep end.
  11. You appear to be a better Judge than I.
  12. Can we stop with the Madrigal as an everyday player nonsense? Even if the Cubs wanted him to do it he can’t stay healthy. I’m hoping they trade him for a lottery ticket before the season starts. He’s not a 3rd baseman. He can’t slg. And most of all he can’t stay healthy.
  13. Is it just me or does anyone else think the Cowboys are going to walk ove the Packers?
  14. I saw him play about a dozen games in AAA last year, mostly in CF and LF. It was awful. I mean bad in a 15 year old league environment.
  15. It's so interesting how much different Auburn and Alabama are. He does not have ties to the SEC or the South, so he's going to have a bit of a hurdle in recruiting, at least to start. Seems like a solid choice.
  16. Or brilliant if it works out.
  17. I think it's a little premature to say he's a AAAA player given the data you presented and his very limited and sporadic use. I'd like to see him given a real opportunity. He has nothing to prove in AAA. On the flip side, if they are not going to do that, to trade him.
  18. I've been thinking about that scenario a lot, but I thought it if I suggested it, it would get roundly criticized.
  19. It’s more weird that people have him at 1st when he hasn’t played 1st. They basically have 4 2nd baseman and Wisdom.
  20. This trade could look pretty lopsided in three years, and not in a good way for the Cubs. But I trust them. Busch's defensive problems are way overblown, so whatever. Edit: The smoldering shell of twitter with ads from the Epoch Times sandwiched between Passsan tweets is really something, well done, Elon.
  21. You know that Farris is going to win a Cy Young in LA.
