the flyers played a john stevens special last night... dominated the thrashers the first two periods, outscoring them 3-1 and outshooting them 28-11, but then they sat around the third period and let the thrashers tie it, and had to get the win on a great end to end play by joffrey lupul. shots in the third period - atlanta 21, flyers 4.

my friend was telling me that stoops is 60-2 at home since he took over there? i know that the texas game (usually the hardest big xii game) is always neutral field, but still.... wow.

no. not this crazy. Biakabutka. That was legendary crazy. my roommate is a michigan grad and he keeps pointing to that year as hope that michigan can win, but that team was still 7-4 going into that game, finished 9-4 and ranked in the top 20, and had several guys who went on to become good nfl players - brian griese, biakabatuka, jon jansen, jon runyan, amani toomer, charles woodson. most importantly, they had a very good quarterback. this team has friggin nick sheridan, who shouldn't be starting for a bcs school, and they're 3-8. forget the fact that it's michigan-ohio state; it's just a bad team on the road playing a good team. no contest.

If by lame, you mean awesome, than yes. Both teams suck. it actually would have been more fitting if both teams had lost, but unfortunately that isn't an option

yeah i don't like bc, that's a requirement for holy cross people. speaking of holy cross, i listened to their game online today. we gave up a td with about 3 minutes left, but lafayette missed the XP, so we were only down 6. a long pass down to their 3 got called back because of holding, but on the next play we had a 37 yard td pass with just 6 seconds left, and made the XP to win by a point. awesome win. now we face colgate next week for the patriot league championship!!
