  1. if you do college football confidence pools, this is kinda bad news - 2 big ten teams in the bcs = 2 easy picks. now you're probably just down to one.
  2. in other words, "i don't really understand the rule well enough to explain my position"
  3. actually on the road, that's a victory
  4. than make an argument, besides "it was blatant PI." What is your understanding of the rule? I made an argument.
  5. I hate you is smack an ohio st fan? that would explain a lot.
  6. i'm not too pissed, if we can't beat iowa then we would've just gotten our ass kicked by whoever we played in the championship game. now we can get our ass kicked by usc instead, assuming that we don't choke against indiana and michigan st too.
  7. if you're flexible enough, i'm sure you can do that for yourself.
  8. regardless of whether that's interference, the worst one was the no-call of the grounding. the ref was standing on the l.o.s. and the ball is 3 yards to his left, the qb is clearly within the tackle, and there's no receiver within 10 yards of the ball. it's the easiest call ever. if they make it, there's a 2nd and 18 instead of 2nd and 18, and iowa has a real hard time getting a first down from there. whatever, game shouldn't have been that close anyway. maybe we collapse and lose out like in '99, and end up in the alamo bowl or something.

  10. defensive player was making a play for ball, so no interference...know the rules I know the rules. In fact, I'd say anyone who doesn't think that was anything but blatant PI has a dubious grasp at best of the rules. It was obvious.
  11. if an offensive player goes over the top of a defensive player in that situation, trying to make the catch, do they call it offensive PI?
  12. well, at least i'll enjoy watching the rose bowl this year.
  13. ball was 5 yards short of the line of scrimmage... refs are really missing a good game this drive. also still in the tackle box and no receiver within 10 yards. otherwise it was a perfect no-call.
  14. ball was 5 yards short of the line of scrimmage... refs are really missing a good game this drive.
  15. yeah who the hell knows why they called that. blew an easy holding call on that play too, after calling a weird one last possession when their d-lineman just fell down.
  16. feel free to call holding on the hawkeyes too
  17. fannnnnnnnnnnnnnnntastic
  18. thanks iowa
  19. hahaha that was terrible... iowa has the wind and the momentum, we really might lose this
  20. great coverage
  21. and nice throw iowa
  22. nice kick
  23. to be fair, he only missed his receiver by 10 yards on that pass.
  24. yeah but every week you play in the sec, you're playing a great team who can upset a top team.
