  1. another solid day for norv's chargers, they're now 4-7 and still 2 games behind a team that is trying to give the division away.
  2. Luckily, OU only loses to the inbred sheep******s only one out of every 5 tries. Man, I can't stand those stupid orange-clad rednecks. you go for the crimson-clad rednecks, eh?
  3. don't be surprised, Ryan's a great QB yeah, i didn't think he'd be a good NFL qb, i was way wrong on that. also, wtf denver??? my survivor team just croaked.
  4. my new top 5: 1. tim tebow 2. percy harvin 3. florida gators if tebow and harvin are considered their own teams and not part of the florida gators 4. texas longhorns 5. penn state (homer pick)
  5. he did??? i wish they would have mentioned it during the broadcast.
  6. too bad time ran out, texas tech was starting to move the ball. a couple more possessions and they could have been as good as oklahoma.
  7. if OU ever got bad for a year, you would see every team in the big xii run it up on them, just to get them back. same with florida.
  8. Assuming a win over Syracuse (sorry ND fans), they just clinched a berth in the Orange Bowl, I believe. I think it's also the first time in program history that they beat Pitt. then charge the field after clinching next week... they're at home.
  9. this is really mind boggling. alabama was ahead 31-0 at halftime, but because georgia spent all second half piling up yardage through the air and scored a bunch of points that were next to meaningless, while alabama was just chewing up time by running the ball. anyone with any sort of sense would say that alabama carried the play in that game, but according to you it was basically a coin toss. that is just a terrible understanding of everything. Yes. While the score said 41-30, the game was not as close as the score may have indicated. There was a BADLY miss call on the punt return (there were two block in the back on the punt return that were not called, and the SEC admitted to the mistake) and the other two scores came withint 5 or so minutes left in the game. Anybody who saw the game knows Alabama whupped GA. So yeah, Meph doesn't have a leg to stand on in this case. GA was simply outplayed by Alabama regardless of the score. only a homer like yourself could bitch about officiating in a game your team won by a country mile.
  10. lol @ the cincy fans charging the field after beating pitt

  12. can we get back to the discussion of how UNC could give any of the top 4 teams in the big xii a run for their money? i guess by extension, we could expect the wolfpack of n.c. state to possibly beat oklahoma or texas.
  13. Tech is absolutely better than Georgia, and they have the record to prove it. They have the record to prove it? If they play Florida, they lose. If they play Alabama, they probably lose. That's the two losses that Georgia has. It's really up for debate. You can throw Texas Tech, Georgia, Penn State, Ohio State, and Utah all in the same group. way to completely ignore the fact that georgia got creamed by both of those teams.
  14. someone should go kick mike stoops in the balls for running on third down.
  15. arizona should just move out of the way and let them score a td on the next play.
  16. yeah oregon st is gonna win this game, arizona should not have tried to run 40 seconds off the clock. 1:30 is too damn long in college, especially if the other team only needs to get in fg range.
  17. now we're gonna get our ass kicked by usc :x
  18. If ND fires Weiss (surely they won't), I wouldn't be surprised to see him flirt with them. Also, Pete Carroll may well get bored at USC and either retire or head back to the NFL. USC would almost doubtlessly outdo the $4 mil Bama pays Saban. it'd be a bidding war between alabama and usc... the winner would be the school that cuts player salaries the most to give that money to the coach.
  19. lol oregon st missed an extra point to tie it
  20. this game is boring... i'm switching over to oregon st-arizona.
  21. Fortunately for you, yes, you can watch us get crushed in the Sun Bowl by whoever the hell the Pac-10 feels like sending. unfortunate for ND, actually. Payout, sure, but you're more than likely going to lose your 10th straight bowl game I really don't care about the bowl streak as much as everyone else does. None of those outcomes really meant anything (I like bowls, but the fact is except for the national title game, none of those outcomes really mean anything - it's about the experience). I'm glad the young players can get another month of practice time before (hopefully) the new coach comes in. That's all I really care about. not really sure what the point is of firing weis and going to someone else now. he's a pretty good recruiter and while some of his in-game coaching isn't great, he can probably adjust there. the bigger problem is that notre dame isn't an elite program any more, and they can't go out and name their coach like they once could. i don't think they'll get an elite coach, and if they can't, then they're probably better off keeping the continuity of weis.
  22. Fortunately for you, yes, you can watch us get crushed in the Sun Bowl by whoever the hell the Pac-10 feels like sending. unfortunate for ND, actually. Payout, sure, but you're more than likely going to lose your 10th straight bowl game yeah but losing today makes it more likely that they'll play in a crappy bowl. some of those years theyv'e gotten crushed because they were taken by a bowl they had no business going to.
  23. lsu being douchebags as ole miss is taking a knee, because they got thoroughly outplayed at home.
  24. so is the acc top 4 still about as good as the big xii top 4? i need some help figuring out who the acc top 4 teams are since unc just got destroyed at home by nc state.
