  1. We're going to lose by three touchdowns. 87.8% Cal Poly over UC Davis. Cal Poly's favored by 17 points. you can really do this for i-aa? what about the holy cross game?
  2. bwahahahaha
  3. not sure how you didn't get this one. they're going to the florida a&m versus hampton game.
  4. yeah chokes like yesterday can't be easy on an old man. losing by 40 to usc might finish him off.
  5. tech has a bad non-conference schedule by choice, not because they can't find anyone to play against. though i will say that most teams play at most one tough non-conference game and then a bunch of jokes, so tech is really only missing out on one real contest when compared to the rest of the big xii teams.
  6. It was 4th and 8 after they got Royster for the big loss. Running into the kicker makes it 4th and 3 and they punt again. 4th and 8??? i missed that because i assumed they spotted the ball where his forward progress was stopped. i guess for whatever reason they called it where he went down, even though he never resumed his forward progress. but i suppose that, given the spot where they marked it, then it was a big call.
  7. Leach, Peterson, Mendenhall, Kelly, Beamer, Richt, Spurrier, etc. Leach? Hell no. Leach is a gimmick team. They're this years USF (ie not #2 but ranked #2). Chris Peterson at Boise State? What? BYUs Mendenhall? C'mon they need to play in a real league first. Kelly no. Beamer, eh.... I don't think so. Spurrier, ten years ago yes now not so much. Richt? Maybe. I disagree. Leach is one of only sixteen active college football coaches who have never had a losing season. That speaks volumes, especially how tough the Big XII south is. one would think a gimmick coach or a gimmick team would stop winning in their conference since they're playing the same teams year after year, and the other teams would adjust to facing an unorthodox style. they've gotten better, not worse, against the good teams in the big xii.
  8. it's still the wrong call. I disagree but I'm obviously biased. I do see your point but when you impede a receivers progress that early it's almost automatic. nobody impeded the receiver's progress. safety went up for the ball and hit the receiver before the ball got there, but he was going for the ball just as much as the WR was (actually more so). when it's a call like this, you should ask yourself - do they make the call of offensive pass interference if the WR goes up and initiates contact with the DB before the ball arrives? you'll never, ever see that call made, but the rule is that when the ball goes in the air, it's a free ball for any eligible receiver to catch. the offensive player does not have a special right to the ball because his teammate was the one throwing it. that was the wrong call and it should've been running into the kicker (how's the kicker supposed to land safely on two feet if the defensive player is below him?), but it really didn't matter. it was like 4th and 2 so it's a first down. the intentional grounding and the questional PI call were much more important calls. anyway, when you settle for 4 field goals you leave yourself open to losing a game due to questionable calls, and that's what happened. we lost that game because we left too many points on the field. wait til next year.
  9. it's still the wrong call.
  10. that gimmick team from lubbock is thoroughly outplaying another team.
  11. now people do care about that. cincy literally did everything wrong in the last 90 seconds. edit - and they win in overtime anyway. bill stewart is awful.
  12. nobody cares
  13. what if the south wins the civil war, then there might not even be a university of arkansas.
  14. that was a really, really weird trade. was eminger terrible with philly or something? he always struck me as a similar player to carle that was never given a chance to play. on top of that, they added in downie to take on a guy who has been mediocre since the first half of his rookie year. yes eminger is a bum and stevens hated downie, so there ya go.
  15. pants on and both hands on the keyboard before you're allowed to post in this thread, buddy.
  16. much like 17-10 demolition of arizona a couple of weeks ago.
  17. sweet we lost 2-1 to the lightning because mike smith stood on his head, and we traded for matt carle so we can overpay him to be mediocre for the next 3-4 years!!!
  18. I'M A MAN, I'M 40.
  19. uh oh tebow already has two touchdowns on the ground and through the air... consider meph's shorts thoroughly soiled.
  20. I hate you is smack an ohio st fan? that would explain a lot. No, I actually went to Purdue. I just enjoy watching teams who recruit at all costs lose. i'm glad you prefer your 3-7 team that doesn't recruit. i'm glad you prefer your 20 players with 86 criminal charges between last season and this one. good to see you are keeping track. in the meantime best of luck in your end-of-season classic with indiana.
  21. Yes. He's not Saban or Meyer, but he's one of the top coaches in the country. My god he's 45-7 or something at LSU. He's had a rough bump this season. Really the big screw up for them this season is lack of a good QB. The Perriloux situation really hurt them. C'mon they took a top five team to OT. theyre fine. they played well. they got outclassed by the best team in the country though, but right now florida would beat anyone like that. This is the sort of "his track record is good!" thinking that led people to believe that Dusty Baker was a good manager. I've watched a lot of LSU football and to even put this fraud in the class of Saban, Carroll, Meyer, etc. is just way off base.. putting pete carroll in the class of saban and meyer is just way off base.

  23. i wouldn't let jarrett lee quarterback at our weekly accuweather touch football games.
  24. that horseshoe failed miserably a couple of times this year. i don't know whose team i want to win the sec less, meph's team or redflash's team. i guess i'd prefer meph's team win it since chances are, one of the 12 good teams he roots for is going to make the championship game.
  25. in other words, "i don't really understand the rule well enough to explain my position" I understand the rule--which is why I know it was the correct call. well you've won me over with that convincing argument, sorry i was off base.
