    Because Truffle says they're all terrible. i'd define an uber-prospect as one of the top 10 or 12 prospects in the game, and i don't think anyone who isn't a huge cubs homer or a family member of josh vitters would say that the cubs have a prospect who is that good.

    Hopefully theres not much to this. I just assume Ram and Lee in the lineup vs. the lefty. I really don't see any reason to assume Ramirez would be in the lineup tonight. unless he can play without having to take the field or run, i don't think he's playing.

    that's why i laugh at teams that traded a first or second round pick in next year's draft for a worse pick in this year's draft.

    I think we both know that the free throw numbers by themselves rarely tell the whole story. this is true, but i haven't seen much in the way of favoritism in this series, and i don't have a rooting interest. SSR is also right about the "flagrant foul," it's never getting called in such an important spot unless the defender basically closes his fist and slugs the guy.

    our old friend scott eyre walked 3 and gave up 2 home runs without getting an out against the nationals.
