    I did notice that Colvin is in CF...is this his first game in the field, or have I just not been paying attention? i missed that but yeah i think it's his first game back in the field.

    leverton got drilled (not surprising) and daytona is getting spanked. castro still can't hit A+ pitching. nelson perez has a double and home run for peoria. kyler burke is also 2-2 with a double; vitters is 0-1 with a HBP.

    mitchell boggs is terrible... if there's anyone the nationals can hit, it's him.

    i would say scott moore, but he hasn't hit much since we traded him.

    paul sullivan is the only person who thinks that dempster has pitched well most of the time.

    by the way, if ARam can't run tonight, good ol' bobby scales is coming up from iowa.

    fox can't play third. at all. Our options appear to be Miles at 2B and Fontenot at 3B or Fontenot at 2B and Fox at 3B. The first option hasn't worked out great. I wouldn't mind giving the 2nd option a run. i'm pretty sure fox has played like 2 games at 3B. he's a horrid defender at positions he plays regularly; he'd really be a disaster at an unfamiliar position. the options are pretty much 1B or corner outfield for him; i think he's just give away too many runs at 3B to make the added offense worth it. not having an adequate backup 3B is another in the long list of hendry failures. the derosa trade was stupid on so many levels.
