jason heyward is basically in the same boat, a guy with great tools who put up big numbers at low-a ball. just because patterson had a major flaw (plate discipline) doesn't mean he wasn't an uber-prospect. that's a skill that some big-time prospects (jay bruce, cameron maybin) don't possess initially. -
