I don't think the Cubs will be able to. However, I would like you to please add to the title which Giles, if you could.

There's only one Giles that can be signed. The other would have to be traded for.

 

And no, I don't think the Cubs will sign Giles and I've never put much hope into it. I simply believe that it is an absolute no-brainer that it is what they should do.

That's how I feel. They won't do it, because it's the best thing they could possibly do.

They should but I fear they won't even try. I think he ends up in Anaheim.

I honestly see him as a Cardinal next year. I think Jocketty has accepted the benefits of statistical analysis in a way that we could only dream of as Cubs fans.

I think Hendry will just look at Giles' BA and HR and conclude that Giles is overpriced. He will remain oblivious to Giles' 119 walks.
