Zona ties up USC with 7 secs left in the first quarter. They drove about 55 yards after a USC fumble.

 

Leinart has also thrown an INT with a wide open Steve Smith around. USC's slow starts will hopefully catch up to them sooner or later.

My Michigan team is horrible this year. They just lost to Minnesota 23-20. 3rd loss of the season. What a joke.

Minnesota wins in Ann Arbor. The Big 10 is crazy deep this year. UM, MSU, OSU, Minnesota, Penn State, Purdue, Iowa, and Wisconsin could all be deserving of bowls. And Northwestern, IU, and U of I aren't terrible either.

Texas wins 45-12. For the 2nd straight week Corso picks an upset and his chosen team gets destroyed. Last week he foolishly went against Charlie Weis and my Irish.

With over 11 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, USC scores again to lead 21-7 (LenDale White 2-yard run). USC already has over 400 yards of offense.

Iowa State just lost to Baylor 23-13 at home. I'd say the Tigers have a good shot in that game.

I think both will be good tests for USC, both have good defenses (Cal's is better than USC's).

This is embarrassing. The last two games I could understand -- ASU and Oregon are solid teams. But Arizona??? USC might lose two of the ND-UCLA-Cal games at this rate.

I don't see how this is embarassing. USC isn't going to blow out everyone, but which national championship contender ever has? The Oregon game ended up being a blowout.

 

The reason Arizona is in the game is because of turnovers.

 

I fully expect USC to lose 1 game this year - to Cal or UCLA.

To be quite frank, with this schedule, they should be blowing out the majority of their opponents. USC probably has better talent on their third team than half the teams in the top 25.
