I have a question... why do you guys call him "riot" when his name is pronounced (I believe) TARE-eoh?

 

Check the spelling of his name....

Theriot's going to take a walk in his first at-bat tonight. Book it.

 

And Neifi will hit into a bases clearing double play right after that walk. Book it!

i only have gameday, but this looks like an ugly start.

 

The leadoff double was a bloop down the line in right. The hit to score the run was a rip up the right side.

Does Brian Giles want to leave the West Coast? I would not mind seeing an outfield mix of: Nomar, Murton and CPatt until Pie is ready. That assumes that CPatt is available. If not, can we get someone serviceable like Randy Winn and keep CPatt on the bench?
