Fuentes hadn't allowed a run against lefties this year in 54 ABs. Just 10 hits to go along with a 25/7 K/BB ratio. That's why they intentionally walked Neifi.

 

Is that before or after the Burnitz double? :D

Yup, but in your gut you know it's going to be blow out near the end or too little too late.

 

What really hurts is thinking what might have been if Demps had the closing slot in April. That might have been good for 5-10 more wins.
