I will try to give an update from the Iowa game when I get home tomorrow night guys.

Thanks in advance!

It's time for the Jaxx to get a W, this losing streak stinks.

rain delay to start in Peoria....this is gonna be a fun day....

Hopefully the groundscrew will do a better job than the away game not long ago.

For Iowa Surge has 6IP 2ER, he left on the hook for the loss but Iowa tied it up so he'll get a ND.

(Ground outs-fly outs: Mitre 11-2) :P

D-Cubs won 5-2, Dope was 0-4 :(

Mitre pitched a nice game. Van Buren got into the game, and from what I can tell he is a nice set-up guy. He has some really nice stuff. He had Adrian Brown from the Royals looking pretty bad on an offspeed pitch. Sadly I will not be able to report on anything tomorrow because I won't be able to get out to the game.

Notables

Cedeno seems to be a little rusty at the plate, but he did flash the glove quite a few times over the weekend. I'm very impressed with this kid. The bullpen for Iowa seems to have some issues. Forgive me for not knowing some of their names(haven't really payed much attention other than the big name prospects), but the today's and last night's games were lost late. Friday's game was really put out of reach by the pen.

Someone else might be able to help me out with this, but why is Wellemyer starting tomorrow. I don't recall him ever working as a starter with the pro team, so why don't they work him out of the pen in Iowa?

Uhh, Ryu just hit 95 on the radar gun in Jacksonville.

But, WT is down 3-2 and JKR is still in a jam with one out in the 4th. Jae-Kuk gets out of the jam. The rains are coming, so the Jaxx might only have the next three outs to get some runs before a rain delay/the game becoming official.

He has the stuff to be a good starter (better than Jerome Williams). Just because he hasn't started in the big leagues doesn't mean he can't in the future, in fact I (and others like raw and UK) would like to see him start in the big leagues. Even if his role in the big leagues will be as a reliever, as a minor league starter, he'll get more innings under his belt and more practice.

He's been starting all year at AAA and been doing a good job too: 3.02 ERA, .235 BAA, 48 K but 25 BB in 53.2 IP.

Ryu just hit 89 mph, which sounds in line with his other radar readings this year, so maybe the Jacksonville radar is just screwy.

Gah, now it's 5-2 Jacksonville following a 2-RBI triple. And JKR's night is done. JKR gave up 5 in 4.2 IP.

So they do. Oddly enough, earlier today, they had Welly as tomorrow's scheduled starter.

That's cause Welly just got recalled to replace Koronka.

Great, another q & a that doesn't get completed. Thanks, AAA.

NOOOOOOOOOO. I love my questions that I asked him. FIND A WAY TO GET IT DONE DJAXX. :D

I wish I could, but unless he's back in AAA this year I don't see it happening unless I mail it to him and he's willing to do answer it and send it back. Very frustrating...

With Hill going tomorrow, I'm kinda disappointed that I'm not going to be able to make it. I've gotten to see Welly pitch here a few times before, so I'm wasn't too worried about missing it. Oh well they're coming back at the end of August so maybe I'll have my chance then.
