Peoria's game was suspended. It'll restart at noon tomorrow and will go a full nine innings. The game scheduled for tomorrow will go just seven.

Has anyone seen this shirt at DaytonaCubs.com?

They also have Dopirak, Walker, and Moore jersey t-shirts.

FWIW, they sell the shirt in Peoria as well, and I have it. It is pretty awesome :). I think all teams have them, because they have an A's one in Kane County too.

Just got back from Omaha, Brownlie pitched a pretty decent game overall. From what I could tell on the radar guns(I couldn't get a really good view) he was hitting 91 - 92 on his fastball. I wasn't able to see a whole lot though. Kelton was picked as a player who if he strikes out the crowd wins a prize, and I was so glad to see him have a decent night at the plate. The game was pretty well lost by Valdes. He had a lot of problems with his location, and they gave up six in the bottom of the eighth to take the loss. Hairston played tonight as well, and had a hbp, and if I remember right that was the only time he reached base. So anyway tomorrow, I'm going to go see Mitre pitch which will be my third time seeing him.

If he's hitting the low 90s with his fastball, we have our fifth starter next year! :D

BTW, John Sickels implied he was attending the game today. Perhaps he'll have a report at his minor league website.

A little later in the evening, and I have guzzled much more beer, but I will try to be ledgeble. He seemed to be very nice with his curve, and he kept a lot of the Royals players on their toes with it. I don't know if he's ready to be our #5 pitcher yet, but he does have nice stuff. BTW how long has Lewis been at the AAA level. I haven't really followed the minor leagues, but this forum might change that.
