Pretty good comments from Ryno to make a case for Santo. I get the gut feeling that Santo will be in sometime soon.

jonmdavis better figure out a way to put this on his site

If there is a way he can do it! He taught me how to transfer the Nomar interview from my digital recorder last night to MP3!

Already did. It's not a high quality capture, though. About 13 mb and I'm pretty sure I didn't use any non-standard video codec for compression, so it should be good.

EDIT: Well, apparently I did use divx, so you'll need that codec.

If enough people complain, I can recapture it later. I taped the whole two hours b/c my original recording of Ryno's speech got cut off.

Nothing really to complain about man. Just thankful we have it :o

Worked fine for my Media player.

It's probably best for them to right click it and save as, instead of clicking the link. When I first clicked the link, it took a long long time to load up, so probably downloading it is the best option IMHO.

Again, great work there JMD.

Just got back home from Cooperstown.

To put it mildly, Vance is a heckuva nice guy and by far the most deserving guy to get the chance to ask ryno a question.

Over this past weekend, Vance took in a stranger (myself and my good friend Freddie) and treated us like a member of his family.

Overall, the HOF weekend was unreal!

I even lucked up and met Boggs and Sandberg in the Albany airport (on my way home). Got a photo with Boggs and Ryno signed a HOF post card for me.

Again, I can't tell you guys how great a guy Vance is.

Vance had nothing but great things to say about you as well! I'm glad that all of you had a great time!

That was awesome, Vance! I would have piddled myself in that position. Ryno did not make me start playing the game, but watching him certainly made me enjoy it. I am proud to say he was my baseball idol for so many years.

Shoot. I missed it. Didn't know it would be on. Any chance ESPN2 will replay it sometime?

I kinda doubt it, but if you want to see a clip, you can check back on page 2, where JonMDavis has the link to Vance's question and Ryno's answer.
