On ESPN they mentioned he might be out forever.

I feel bad for him. BTW he was the starting Tight End on the Auburn Football team. His RB, Bo Jackson.

Bo Jackson lives in Burr Ridge (my neighboring village).. he lives about 3-4 miles away fro me.

I think from the standpoint that he might not be productive anymore given that a man of his size and stature, his leg/ankle problems will continue to give him fits until he does intend on retiring, but as of right now, the Chicago Media is focusing on whether or not Kenny Williams will pick up his ludicrous option for next season (the angle being that he gets his 500th home run with the Sox, though I'm unsure of how close he actually is...).

Kenny would have to be on crack to give Frank 12 million next season.

if i were Williams, id decline the option but ask him back, for far less of course. No team is going to spend $12 million on Thomas next year.

He's going to have to spend 3 million on a buyout of the option, how much more can you give him?

To my knowledge it's a dual option. Thomas has a 10 million player option if the Team option is declined, at least that's how I understand it. There's a 3.5 million buyout, and I think that is paid if both options are declined.
