Also, Maddux is the most foul-mouthed pitcher I've ever seen.

 Yeah, whenever the game is on WGN, I can actually lip-read what he's really saying.

Anyone else hear Maddux screaming expletives after bad pitches? I've heard at least a couple in the past 2 innings. :D

I heard it too..

Maybe he has Tourette's, like Jim Eisenreich.

I've become quite amused at the combination of profanities he uses. I'm an expert at profanity usage and combination, and even I think I could learn a thing or two from Greg.

It's all about being creative. Use two words that normally don't fit together. Mix and match, it's more fun that way. And Greg's a master because he's been doing it for 20 years.

I wonder what Z is saying when he's on the mound? Anyone here speak Spanish gibberish?

 Ditto. It's just fun watching him going nuts. It won't be long before Baseball games will have a rating PG-13.

I haven't been paying too much attention to the game thread, but is it a surprise to anyone that we're scoring runs today with Murton and Cedeno in the lineup? Granted it's against crappy Milton, but these two guys are good hitters who use all fields. It's a sin they aren't in the lineup more often.

We keep talking about the need for a left fielder when we may already have one in Murton. But I have to say "may" because Dusty wont let the kid off the pine long enough for anyone to make an informed decision. Murton has always been a solid hitter with a great approach and Cedeno has a better approach than Nefi and a lot more fielding range.
