pujols is creeping up on dlee in the rbi dept.

I think Lee won't care too much as long as we're starting to win, win, win..

Walker vs. lefties this year..

.471/.514/.824 (1.337) in 34 ABs

Of course it's a small sample size... but he's killed them so far.

Yeah, the Cards put guys on in front of Pujols. The Cubs just started getting guys on in front of Lee. But if Walker keeps tearing the cover off the ball, Lee will never win the RBI crown. But as long as the team keeps winning, I don't care if he never gets another RBI again.

anymore news on burny? what happened, for those who cant see the game?

It looked like he might have gotten spiked or something by the catcher. They put a big bandage on the top of his foot and then rewrapped his ankle.

Is it me or does it seem like Walker is actually hitting lefties well this year? I'll have to check the splits.

I think you're right. Didn't he just hit two HR's earlier in the series against the lefty???

Is Burnitz still in RF, for those who can't see the game?

Edited: Never mind.

I haven't been paying too much attention to the game thread, but is it a surprise to anyone that we're scoring runs today with Murton and Cedeno in the lineup? Granted it's against crappy Milton, but these two guys are good hitters who use all fields. It's a sin they aren't in the lineup more often.

Just from judging Burny's personality. They could remove his foot and he'd still be out in that field.

I wonder how many more hits Aram would have if he had any semblance of speed.

I was playing MLB 2004, and I hit a incredibly slow roller to the thirdbaseman, and Ramirez still hit into a double play...he's so slow, but so strong.
