Don't be getting too greedy.

Its just the 5th inning. This game isnt over. Maddux usually has a bad inning and our bullpen isn't lights out. We need more runs before clearing the bench.

I doubt Greenberg is available to play today, so with the already short bench, Dusty really can't afford to use up players this early.

Well that was a Cub-like quick inning.

With Neifi, Hollandsworth, and Maddux up, I'm not surprised it was 1-2-3. That happens a lot with many teams 7,8, and 9 hitters.

I can understand that. Like most of us were complaining, the 12 pitchers. I think that is hurting us more than it's helping us IMHO.

Those 3 hitters are a combined 3 for 9 today !! Show some respect.

As much as they talk about cutting the staff down to 11, I'd be quite surprised to see it happen.

And for no reason other than to spite Grieve's OBP.

Well, if a lot of those guys weren't brittle and or ineffective Dusty would have the luxury of having an extra guy on the bench. I see Jerome Williams is in the pen today as well.
