If true that would be worth a lot.  I have seen him taking ground balls and optimistic reports as well. But it is the Cubs. It is always optimistic until last minute and things turn.

They showed him fielding groundballs, but the main concern is him swinging a bat, once he's able to do that, then he'll be close to getting back

Agree.  He got hurt on a swing.
