Much better velo from Wiggins today compared to the last few outings.  And obviously the control isn't good but it's not as bad as 3 walks would make you think

Chase was one of my absolute favorites from this class. There's just something about his demeanor that screams "back end reliever". He reminds me in some ways of Cam Sanders a few years ago.

Not watching but he had 2 walks where he got ahead and couldn't put guys away, which is frustrating.

Topped out at 97, up to 4 whiffs now through 2.

Caden Sorrell with a single in his second at bat.

All I ask is that he annihilates A-ball and starts next season in AA.

Too much, I know, but damnit, I want some more fun power bats in this system.

Speaking of AA, are we getting close to a Hartshorn appearance? Just shy of 250 PAs and a 130 wRC+ at A+ so far.

if he was older I would say yes but at 19 it just seems so unnecessary.

Plus he's gone through some struggles at A+ and seems to be turning it around recently. Let him cook and get his confidence back up, then reevaluate once it's time for playoff assignments.
