Rick Ankiel never ceases to depress me. Now he's tearing up low A ball and hitting bombs left and right. Whatever.

I think Ankiel will be back to the majors as an outfielder. I saw him play in a couple games, and just the way he attacks the ball when he swings sets him apart from pretty much everyone else I've seen this year in Peoria.

 

ps- one of the new highlights of my life was when he was walking to the plate and i shouted that i saw him on espn classic the night before and that he really sucked there too. he gave me a dirty look.
