We have just about 23 hours left to cast as many votes as we can for Derrek Lee to make the All-Star Game as the firstbase starter.

Voting ends at 11:59 PM ET Thursday.

Make sure to vote as often as you can today.

I just voted for Digli and Aramis 50 times, my fingers are tired!

Good job!

I voted 25X each inning today while watching the game! :D

Jeez, if he wins, Derrek owes you a portion of his All-Star bonus!

Maybe he'll mention me in his acceptance speech. :D

I'm voting again. This time its my wife's e-mail address.

Vote early, vote often. Chicagoans should be used to that...

A hundred for me as well so far. I've ran out of email addresses to use though so now I'm just going with the name joe schmo and any email address I can think of.

You know, I find it absolutelty hilarious that "die-hard" White Sox fans have actually dedicated a 58 page thread topic (http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=35436) trying to encourage fellow fans to vote on the Chicago Tribune's "All City Baseball Team", while meanwhile not even getting a single WS player even close to being amongst the American League All Star starters. If that is not the typical White Sox fan in a nutshell, I don't know what is.

Oh well, at least they managed to even up the Cubs in the season series. At least for them, they have already won their own personal "World Series".

Anyways, I've just submitted a bunch of ballots (25 per) using friends' e-mail addresses (making sure to check off the spam box each and every time). Unfortunately, I now regret all of the previous times that I wrote in Neifi Perez for shortstop.

Try to use a real email address, even if it's not yours. From what I understand, fake email addresses make the votes not count. Check in the Cheat thread. You can use a Cardinals website email address against them. I think it's Redbirdcentral or something like that. But any email address @redbirdcentral.com will work. Or do like Vance does, and use the email address of people who send you spam.

Use the addresses from the spam in your junk folder.

That's ok. I used Jabroni's email addy to vote Cubs and checked that he was a fan of the Cubs and Twins. :P

I've been using random email addresses from my university. Every email address is cuXX@eiu.edu where the Xs are initials. Considering they never delete email accounts, that makes them plentiful.

Also, a time/hand saving fix I've noticed is while typing in the security code as to not cheat, put your right hand on the numpad and your left hand in regular typing position. All the letters are from the left side of the keyboard.

If your pattern has been to vote 100 times per day then that means you only need 4 email addresses since those same 4 emails are valid to use again on the next day.

Of course there's less than a day left now so that doesn't help

Does it tell you when you have reached the 25 max for that email address? Oh and I have been using Vance's method and making sure I check both more info boxes... that's what they get for spamming me. 8)

Yes it does, so after I get the "you have voted the maximum window" I switch to the next address.

okay, need some help...

I was just doing my daily voting and something kindof weird happened. All of a sudden as I was using some friends e-mail, as I clicked on voting again, it was someone's aol account that I did not know. And it had the automatic fields changed. All of a sudden I am voting as Michael Kimes as a Cardinals fan...

Why did it change? So Strange...

I just voted 25 times and have probably voted a total of 50 times. While that pales in comparison to others, I'm still doing my part.

Oh no! Cardinal's fans are hacking the system!

Maybe the guy who owns that email address voted around the same time you did. It only saves the settings from the last vote you submitted with that email address. He might have voted the Cards in, and thus changed your settings. Keep voting Cubs though. Use all his votes.
