To recap (for those not watching)

Top of 9th, Red are up 2-1

Pagan walks the first two hitters, but get an out on a fly ball. They then get a slow grounder and when they try to turn two, Ellie spikes the throw to first which lets the runner score the tying run.

Bottom of the 9th, Reds hitter rung up on a check swing that wasn't close to a swing.

Top of 10th, Brewers hit a single to left where the Reds left fielder inexplicably boots the ball AND gets hurt doing it, allowing the go-ahed run to score.

So it's 3-2 Brewers, and they scored their runs on walk, walk, error in the 9th and on an error in the 10th.

It’s a minor miracle the Reds tied it.  They seem determined to hand the Brewers the game.

Props to the whole franchise. It wasn’t Stearns, it wasn’t Counsell. They’ve got great scout, coaches, and players all around.

That’s probably the only rule I can’t stand. I love the challenges, pitch clock, but the runner on 2nd is awful. Just let them end in a tie after 9 or after a few extra innings.

Brewers on a 28-4 run since July 6.   That's a .875 winning %.  7 out of 10 series sweeps in that time.

What's the most epic run in MLB history?  The Cubs have the record for best 60-game stretch, 52-8 in 1906!

Whatever team they face have to shut down their running game, both SB and taking extra bases.   Good thing for next week is Happ is epic at getting the ball in quick, definitely the best LF i've ever seen do it.  We also have Boyd the pickoff master, and McGuire is very quick.
