I find it hilarious that Kepley has been HBP 31 times in 2025. It makes me wonder if there's an actual skill set to it.

I haven't watched any AB but I assume he's just on top of the plate like Rizzo.

Javy used to get a ton of HBP too.  That's part of how he ran decent OBPs despite nonexistent plate discipline.  It's...I don't know if skill is the right word but it's not random.

He's going to fly through the system. Love the speed amd defense floor, plus he should carry a high OBP. He looks like a really good pick.

Probably more to do with the awful pitchers at that level.
