I'll sit out to let Roast take a chance in the challenge. It was fun last year, but it's not that big of a deal.

Oh, and you can you make multiple deals?

 

Not a multiteam deal (i know we can do that). But for instance if the cubs trade wood for gange and in a totally different trade they send Lee to Pittsburgh for Mesa.

Once again, the Mariners find themselves at the bottom of the AL West. With no hope of making the playoffs this year, they are likely going to try and improve themselves for next year by trading some of their spare parts and bigger contracts. Boone, Guardado, Ibanez, and Winn all have been named at some point in trade rumors. Your job is to improve them for next year. Use as many deals as you like, but remember that your deal(s) will be judged on the likelihood of it happening as well as how fair it is for both sides. Since this type of trade(s) may involve prospects, please be as specific as possible, with specific players being the goal. Please give an explanation of why both sides would make your trade. In the interests of fairness, please do not post your idea in this thread. PM them to me, and when I get all of them, I will post all of them here. The deadline will be Saturday at midnight to turn in your submission. Good luck and have fun!

Sure, you can edit it up until tomorrow night's deadline. The idea is to come up with the best trade ideas possible, don't want to discourage any new revelations. Just make sure that I can understand what your final entry is.

I haven't had time to even begin my research due to work issues this weekend. Don't hold up the deadline, though, on my account. I'm not asking for an extension because I think work will continue to be hectic for a while (until August). That would devalue the contest, methinks. :)

I guess we'll extend it, so we can get some more of them in. The only purpose for the deadline was just to make sure they got in in a timely manner. I may not have internet access for several days after today, so if you send your entry, don't worry if I haven't bolded your name.

In a new development, the winner of the contest will receive a Peoria Chiefs baseball - signed by Sean Gallagher! Compliments of Serena. So make sure to get those entries in, you 5 that haven't. We'll make the new deadline when I can get internet access again, which probably won't be till the weekend or slightly later. So get those entries in!
